The Puuko design has greatly influenced the shape of most modern bushcraft and outdoor EDC knives manufactured today. This Ansgar knife is not only extremely practical and easy to use but this knife is a great example of amazing knife craftsmanship!
The brass bolsters in the middle of the knife improve its balance and the convex grind of the A2 Tool Steel blade will hold its sharpness and edge for long periods of time. Additionally, the scales are sizable enough for a full four-fingered grip! This knife is about 9 ½ inches long overall and has a drop point blade of about 4 ¾ inches! The Ansgar has been discontinued so they are getting tough to find in mint condition.
