I took the close up pics with and without flash Hopefully the flaws are visible in one of the many photos. Unread first printing, stored away properly. Examine the pictures, they are of the exact comic you will receive. Tight and flat with only subtle bindery defects allowed. Flat with no surface wear, inks bright and reflective.

White, only slightest tears allowed. Square and sharp with very slight blunting allowed. Tight and flat, very few stress lines. Flat with bright ink reflectivity.
White to off-white, very slight tears. Square and sharp with slight blunting, no creases.

Tight and flat, small accumulation of minor stress lines. Almost flat with slightly diminished ink reflectivity. White to off-white to cream, very minor tears. Almost flat, minor color break on bends, very slight staple tears allowed. Mostly flat with minute wear showing, no color break on minor creases.

Blunting, minor to moderate creasing. Minor spine roll, up to 1/4 split or severe color break, minor staple tears. Relatively flat, minor to moderate creases with color break. Cream to tan, minor tears. Blunting, minor to moderate creasing or foxing. Minor to moderate spine roll, up to 1/2 split, severe color break, minor staple tears.

Significant wear and creases, possibly detached at one staple. Blunting or rounding, moderate to severe creasing, 1/2 triangle may be missing. Moderate to severe spine roll, up to 2 split or severe color break, moderate staple tears. Significant wear and creases, possibly detached. Tan to brown, minor to moderate tears, centerfold possibly detached.
