1960S-1970S LOT OF 1130 FIRE HYDRANT 35MM PHOTO SLIDES ALL by 1 AMATEUR PHOTOG

1960S-1970S LOT OF 1130 FIRE HYDRANT 35MM PHOTO SLIDES ALL by 1 AMATEUR PHOTOG. You are looking at an absolutely amazing lot of 1130 (4.5 pounds) amateur 35mm slides of fire hydrants that were all taken in the 1960s and 1970s by the same amateur photographer.

This man was obsessed with fire hydrants and photographed them all over the country with a minority being from outside of the U. I would say that about 70 percent are from the 1960s and 30 percent are from the 1970s. All were taken in the United States (98 percent) and Canada (2 percent). It is possible there are a handful from Mexico or Europe but less than 5 or so overall if there are any.

The quality of these slides is normal / average: everything from perfectly exposed slides to slides that are underexposed a half stop or stop to slides with perfect hue to slides with hues that have a color caste to them. The images I included in this listing are a totally random sample of what is in this lot and are a representation of the whole lot. A good number of these slides have their locations written on the slide borders which should be helpful to collectors. It is possible there are a few duplicates in the bunch - there were so many slides in total that it was hard to spot if there were any doubles or not as they started to blend together as I looked through all of them. It is a very small minority if there are any. These slides come from the estate of an amateur photographer / night school photography teacher who lived in Detroit, Michigan from the 1950s to the late-1970s and thereafter in San Francisco. I have 100s of this photographer's slides and negatives for sale. Ships for free in the U. Please note that I do about 10-20 seconds of quick adjustments with basic photo editing software to the sharpness, saturation and exposure of every slide / negative scan before listing.
