Lot of four DVD sets, together comprising all 48 films produced by the comedy team at Monogram Pictures, from 1946 to 1958. NOTE: this set includes all of the films produced as The Bowery Boys; it does not include any films produced by the preceding teams called The Dead End Kids, The East Side Kids, The Little Tough Guys, that each have some of the Bowery Boys members. What is the Warner Archive Collection? These rare titles are not available in stores and are normally produced at Warner Brothers on-demand, causing a delay. Unlike our other DVDs, the Warner Archive Collection uses DVD-R, which provides the same information formatting, quality and durability as regular DVDs.
DVD-R will play on all playback-only DVD and Blu-ray players, but will NOT play on devices with write capability, such as personal computers. Ably anchored by the central pair of Huntz Hall and Leo Gorcey, the kids moved from preachment and crime pictures to straight up comedy as The Bowery Boys and the rest is history as the boys capered through scores of pictures for over two decades!
